You should at least have an option ( idk adventure builders ^^ - worker building takes provisions similar to rimworld ) that enable landscaping techniques without building range restrictions. The districts and the distribution is currently the weakest part of the game ( next to very few buildings but it's not full realease so there is hope for more ). yet still the receiving district only gets like 5 or so dynamite per day. it's the only route and distribution center has max workers. one has a lot of explosives the other needs it. Other example: I have 2 districts next to each other. the desired flag feels utterly redundant. ( and kind of re work ux like hover tooltips or something for the menus. Normal warehouses wont work 1 The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic. To me districts would be cool and fun if instead of drop off points you target other districts storage buildings to distribute goods to. The LOW number is the amount of items to keep in the district - the export trade route will stop if the item inventory across all of the district falls below this number. sure you can move beavers temporary but distribution hustle makes it really tedious. The Distribution Center AND Drop Off Point control the item limits for the district they are located IN. and also adds to districts feeling like a choire. building trenches with dynamite requires you to build stairs and paths etc. the building range is overly annoying for landscaping imho. Otherwhise it's ok once you get used to it. beavers will haul the goods into a storage building and thus goods will be forever transported from now on no matter the restriction. I can set restrictions true but it seems to only apply to the drop off point. also as it is now the distribution of goods is working but kind of borked. Guess the annoying part is additional micro management.
